The FOREE Project: Shaping the Future of European Forestry Education
The "FOREE" project represents a forward-looking initiative aimed at transforming European forestry education from traditional classroom learning to flexible hybrid learning, using blended learning models that incorporate digital concepts, tools, and platforms. This project sets out to develop a Training of Trainers (ToT) course and a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) for educators, implementing a blended learning approach. The objective is to provide educators with the necessary digital resources and competencies to adapt and enhance adult forestry education, making it more responsive to the evolving educational landscape.
Key Priorities:
- Driving Innovation in Vocational Education: The project aligns with the broader goal of fostering innovation in vocational education and training, ensuring that forestry education remains relevant and up-to-date.
- Digital Transformation: A central aspect of the project is addressing digital transformation by creating and enhancing digital resources, resilience, and capacity for forestry educators.
- Building Competencies: The project places a strong emphasis on raising the competencies of teachers, trainers, educators, and other adult education professionals in the forestry sector.
Through the "FOREE" project, Luua Forestry School and its partners are committed to shaping the future of forestry education in Europe by harnessing the power of digital tools and innovative teaching methodologies. We aim to empower educators with the skills and resources they need to provide flexible and adaptive adult forestry education, ensuring its continued success and relevance in the 21st century."
